Dieter Janecek, member of the Bundestag of Bündnis 90/Die Grünen, visited Haimer GmbH in Igenhausen near Augsburg on February 25, 2019 as part of his VDMA internship. The mechanical engineering association, whose regional chairman Claudia Haimer is at the same time the managing partner and co-founder of Haimer GmbH, has been running this format for several years. Janecek's predecessors included the current Minister of the Interior of Baden-Württemberg Strobl (CDU) and the current Minister of Employment Hubertus Heil (SPD).
