There are congresses on digitisation, congresses on new work, congresses on sustainability. Oh, and future conventions anyway. Then why another one? Because so far there is no one who thinks these three future topics together.
More and more companies in the mechanical engineering and plant construction sector are working together with start-ups, founding their own technology-oriented subsidiaries or integrating external young companies into their companies. On its 20th financing day, VDMA NRW focused on financing and the reasons for cooperating with start-ups.
5G and connected, mobile machines are becoming a trend topic for industry. Reason enough for Deutsche Messe to launch the 5G CMM Expo, which already today presents groundbreaking applications and promotes the implementation of the topic. Startups, which are regarded as drivers of the connected, mobile world, are essential here. VDMA Startup-Machine invites startups and corporates to exchange ideas at the 5G CMM EXPO and jointly design the future.
Machines improve our lives – on a large and small scale. Whether for our health, food or the many means of transportation that we use; whether we are looking at the ground deep below the sea or from high above – we need machines and people who utilize their skills to make the world a better place to live. That is the aim of mechanical and plant engineering. Humans – Machines – Progress.
